Permanent Makeup

Permanent Cosmetic Makeup or “Micropigmentation” is a revolutionary new procedure of applying micro insertions of natural pigments into the dermal layer of the skin. Used in both the medical and artistic fields for over 30 years, these pigments have an extensive record of safety and their safety is undisputed. Micropigmentation is a separate specialty within the field of tattooing.

Eye Liners: Ophthalmologists recommend this procedure for those who are allergic to conventional makeup and for individuals who wear contact lenses or glasses.  Eye Liner can be applied as a definite line or a subtle shadow in the lash line.  With this procedure, you always wake up looking more rested and will not look as tired at the end of the day.

Eyebrows: This procedure mimics the appearance of hair in the brow lines according to your preference of thickness. Anyone who desires more fullness of the brows, especially those who use a pencil, will love this procedure. This procedure enables you to go swimming, be out in the summer sun, and be able to wipe your forehead without the embarrassment of wiping off your eyebrows.  Our specialized professionals use the Microblading and shadowing techniques. Microblading is considered to be semi-permanent, as compared to the traditional hair stroke technique. It is done using a very fine blade to deposit pigments into the epidermis. Because we’re impacting color closer to the surface, the strokes appear crisp and very fine. There is no “spilling” under the skin.

Lip Liner/Full Lip Color: This procedure for lip liner and full lip color is beautiful! It can appear to change the size and shape of the lips as well as the color. This procedure helps to prevent your lipstick from bleeding into the surrounding skin and lines.

Paramedical Micropigmentation

The paramedical use of cosmetic tattooing is an artistic and highly specialized field and in which the Corpus Christi Medical Aesthetics team are licensed and recognized experts within the Coastal Bend region. Paramedical uses of permanent makeup provide liberation from scars and natural skin imperfections.  The process is the implantation of pigment within the skin and is conducted in a safe and sterile environment.

Permanent makeup provides a finishing touch to surgical procedures, camouflaging scars and burns, and breast reconstruction. Micropigmentation's ability to break up scar tissue and color it to better match your natural skin tone improves your appearance and gives you renewed confidence in your appearance.

Areola and Nipple Restoration Using Cosmetic Tattooing

Permanent makeup can be used to fashion a more natural look after breast reconstruction surgery by creating the illusion of a lifelike areola and nipples. Color and circle definition in fading or irregular areolas can also be corrected to create a more natural-looking breast. For individuals who have undergone mastectomies or who may have irregular or fading areolas, this complex micropigmentation and nipple restoration will restore the areola area based on your individual preferences.

Scar Camouflage Using Paramedical Permanent Cosmetics

Scars, burns, and skin imperfections from surgeries or injuries can be easily camouflaged using specialized permanent cosmetic micropigmentation procedures. Micropigmentation can also be used to break up scar tissue and color it for a better appearance. Permanent cosmetics can disguise scars and discolorations from cleft palate, birthmarks, non-pigmented age spots, and cosmetic surgeries like face lifts and tummy tucks.

Alopecia Areata (Hair Loss) Relief

Alopecia is the second most common hair loss disease after clinical pattern baldness. Using permanent cosmetics, micropigmentation can easily improve the way you look and feel about yourself through tattooing artistry in order to camouflage the areas of concern.

Scar Camouflage

Scars, burns, and skin imperfections from surgeries or injuries can be easily camouflaged using specialized permanent cosmetic micropigmentation procedures. Micropigmentation can also be used to break up scar tissue and color it for a better appearance. Permanent cosmetics can disguise scars and discolorations from cleft palate, birthmarks, non-pigmented age spots, and cosmetic surgeries like face lifts and tummy tucks.

Microblading

Microblading, also known by a variety of names such as embroidery, microstroking, feather touch and hair like strokes, is a form of semi-Permanent Makeup that provides a means to partially or fully camouflage missing eyebrow hair with the appearance of simulated hair using fine deposits of cosmetic tattoo pigments. Over time the strokes can blur and fade and will need to be refreshed.
